Winter
The ski bus leaves right in front of the chalet and takes you to the Wildkogel Arena gondola. From Wildkogel Arena you can ski back directly to the chalet. A children‘s lift operates on the ski slope next to the chalets. The two larger ski areas in the area., Zillertal Arena and Kitzbühel, are easily accessible by car within 10 minutes.
The world's longest illuminated toboggan run at around 14 km is also in the Wildkogel Arena.
Cross-country skiing , ski tours and snowshoe hikes are other winter activities in the Wildkogel Arena and in the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Summer
Enjoy swimming in the natural swimming pond right next to Chalet Blindis!
Hikers, trekkers and mountaineers will find well-marked trails and alpine climbing in the Hohe Tauern National Park across the Valley. Austria‘s largest protected alpine area provides mountain tours and hikes of all levels of difficulty.
Mountainbikers can enjoy a wide route network with all options from leisurely tours to demanding high mountain tours with trail descent.
The summer card included in your stay offers attractive discounts and free entry to more than 60 services in the area, from a day ticket for the Großglockner High Alpine Road to free use of the Pinzgauer local railway.
